Don Cavalier, the camp chairperson, is the only staff member to have been present at every RYLA Camp since its inception 1992. His commitment to the camp has been second to none. Other staff members and facilitators have shown similar dedication to the camp after realizing how incredible the RYLA program is.

The staff that has participated in the camp each year has been a unique group.  Staff members are generally Rotarians that have become interested in the camp.  In 1996, Dan Anderson was the first camper to return as a Facilitator of the camp.  Many other campers have since returned as Facilitators and Junior Facilitators.

1999 was the first year that campers returned to the camp as junior facilitators. There were five courageous volunteers assigned to five of the 13 families. The junior facilitators quickly became an invaluable component of the camp. You can see photos of the entire camp, staff and families in the RYLA Archives.
