Who are the Volunteers?
RYLA Camp volunteers are Rotarians from all over District 5580 of Rotary International.  Volunteers serve as Committee Members, Facilitators and staff members for the camp.  Volunteers are highly motivated and successful leaders within their respective communities.  They are carefully chosen from many interested applicants and truly represent some of the best leaders in North America.  Who is able to volunteer changes from year to year based upon personal scheduling, but most facilitators will plan years in advance for the opportunity to return to the camp.

RYLA Camp Facilitators
The facilitators are the volunteers that take one full week away from their lives and come to Crookston, Minnesota for the RYLA Camp.  They serve as mentors and guides to the campers in order to provide an opportunity for the best possible growth experience.

RYLA Camp Junior Facilitators
Junior Facilitators are a new part of the camp, started in 1999.  These past RYLArians assist individual RYLA Families and Facilitators throughout the week in immeasurable ways.  All of them have attended the RYLA Camp in the past as a RYLArian and were so impressed with the program they decided to volunteer so others could have the same experience.
